Technology manufacturer Honeywell has been selected by the Electricity Commission to partner in a three-year programme to help local businesses reduce their electricity consumption. Under the programme, the Commission is providing funding to approved projects to help overcome market barriers to investment in electricity efficiency. Honeywell will integrate the funding into its “Energy Performance Contracts” which are structured to guarantee customers cost savings based on calculated reductions in energy consumption.
