NZOUG is bringing Chris Date, the computer industry’s most respected expert and thinker on database technology, to New Zealand in March 2012.  He will be visiting Dunedin, Wellington and Auckland, and will present a two-day seminar on ‘SQL and Relational Theory’ in each city:

In this seminar, he will present "SQL and Relational Theory: How to Write Accurate SQL Code" where he shows you how to write SQL code that's logically correct; how to avoid various SQL traps and pitfalls; and, more generally, how to use SQL as if it were a true relational language.
