Our organisation delivers business solutions based on modern applications, customisations and good business process design. To do this we use a robust business application that allows for rapid development,  minimal upgrade effort and extensive personalisation or modification capability. Microsoft Dynamics AX provides all of this and more.  Microsoft Dynamics AX provides Solution Partners with a comprehensive ERP solution and a modern development environment that we can readily expand to help our clients develop a point of difference from their competitors.

Solution Partners have a mature team and it is this experience in the real world that allows us to claim that we can be both a “low risk provider” while still providing innovative solutions.  Our solid reputation as a Microsoft Dynamics AX reseller has extended off shore to the USA where we now support several large clients in the Mid West.   This offshore exposure to large organisations provides our people with yet greater exposure to global organisations,  in turn adding to our learning culture within Solution Partners – this can only be of benefit to our local NZ clients.

Some of our work in NZ includes:-

Motor Trade Association (MTA). This Wellington based client is a good example of our work with the implementation of Financials and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) modules. MTA wanted to make use of CRM for management of their 11,000 members, including personalised communication and the billing of subscriptions. They also need to control the processing of “Gift Vouchers”, a unique business activity. These critical business functions required development of the standard Dynamics AX software. Solution Partners delivered greater system functionality, yet at the same time removed much of the complexity that had occurred around multiple, fragmented systems.

TR Industries. Based in Matamata operating as a distributor of electric motors, generators and transformers.  Using Dynamics AX they are able to readily manage their multiple warehouses, forecast and plan replenishments as well as reserve forward orders for electric motors against planed shipments.  TR Industries are now able to manage their business using one fully integrated solution.

Convex Plastics. Plastic packaging has a level of manufacturing complexity that makes the issuing of quotations very complex. To address this need Convex deployed the Dynamics AX. “product builder”, a sophisticated “product configurator”. This module is a rules based configurator of Bills of Materials and Routings. It supports the complex “make to order” environment and allows for the rapid development of accurate and realistic quotations. This project won the Microsoft  “The Most Innovative Project in 2003” award.
