IBM has announced that Campbell Soup Company plans to leverage the IBM Global Web architecture to Web-enable selected business processes, beginning with a new e-workplace solution that IBM initially created for itself internally...

The company then plans to move other critical business processes such as e-procurement and customer relationship management to the advanced Web-based systems.

Work is already underway as the IBM Integrated Technology Services' Infrastructure and Management Consulting group has adapted the IBM Global Web architecture, creating an architecture roadmap for Campbell to follow.
