BCS will manage all aspects of the implementation to deploy the solution enterprise-wide from early next year. SKYCITY selected BCS for the project because of the strong technical and project management competency demonstrated by BCS and the synergies able to be leveraged through the global IBM / Peoplesoft alliance. Sarah Adam-Gedge, Partner, BCS New Zealand, said IBM was delighted to have been chosen for the SKYCITY project. “We will be working to implement the ERP solution and demonstrate BCS’s market leading capabilities in large scale, complex project management,” Ms Adam-Gedge said. Damian Swaffield, General Manager Information Services for SKYCITY, said “We are pleased to have IBM involved in this project which will lead to increased efficiencies across the SKYCITY Group. “The technical skills the BCS team possess and the project leadership expertise they are able to bring to the implementation means they are well-positioned for the management of this initiative.”
