Kaseya opens New Zealand office

IT automation software provider aims to grow its managed services capabilities in the local market...

 

August 3, 2009 — Kaseya, a global provider of IT automation software for IT solution providers and corporate IT organisations, has announced the opening of its New Zealand presence.

Sim Bong will head the new office as regional manager for New Zealand.

Based in Auckland, Sim will work with Kaseya’s existing partners and will be responsible for further growing Kaseya’s existing customer base in New Zealand.

The company currently has more than 100 local managed service provider (MSP) partners.

Prior to joining Kaseya, Sim was sales manager at Chilisoft New Zealand. Before that he was country manager at Laser Corporation NZ, and SMB manager at Trend Micro Australia.

He also spent five years with Renaissance Corporation NZ as brand manager of the company’s networking and security division and earlier held a position as national sales and marketing manager at Tech Rentals NZ.
