Intergen specialises in the design, development and integration of business solutions utilising information technology and creativity in ways that meet your needs precisely, seamlessly and succinctly.

We have years of experience with the design, development and implementation of Content Management solutions. These solutions are not just the implementation of technology but rather understanding and managing the lifecycle of content from creation to expiration. We identify with the need for modern organisations to be far more focused on their information, and our solutions are critical elements of organisational Information and Knowledge management strategies.

Technology underlies our solutions and we offer a selection of products and significant technical knowledge to meet your specific requirements. Depending on specific organisational requirements we can offer three solutions:

  • Microsoft’s Office SharePoint System (MOSS) – full enterprise content management solution
  • EPiServer – web content management solution with lightweight document management and collaboration capabilities
  • MoST – lightweight web content management solution

Which solution is best for you depends on a raft of criteria and influences that we are more than happy to discuss further with you.

Either way, our services focus on delivering the maximum value and include:

  • Web site design for content management systems
  • Understanding the intricacies of an information architecture
  • Analysing how the different types of users will interact with the information
  • Implementation of the content management technology
  • Customising and enhancing the content management technology
  • Hosting and management of content management based solutions.

Microsoft’s Office SharePoint System (MOSS)

Microsoft’s Office SharePoint System provides a comprehensive set of tools “out of the box” to manage and control electronic content across full enterprise content management solution space. Users can initiate, track, and participate using familiar Microsoft Office applications, e-mail, or Web browsers.

Key functions of MOSS include:

Control documents through detailed, extensible policy management.
Define customised document management policies to control access rights at a per-item level, specify retention period and expiration actions, and track content through document-auditing settings. Policy integration with familiar client applications makes compliance transparent and easy for employees. Integration with Information Rights Management helps ensure that proprietary and confidential information is better protected even if it is not connected to a server.

Centrally store, manage, and access documents across the enterprise.
Organisations can store and organise all business documents and content in one central location, and users have a consistent mechanism to navigate and find relevant information. Default repository settings can be modified to add workflow, define retention policies, and add new templates and content types.

Simplify Web content management.
Provide easy-to-use functionality to create, approve, and publish Web content. Master Pages and Page Layouts provide reusable templates for a consistent look and feel. New functionality enables enterprises to publish content from one area to another (for example, from collaborative sites to a portal), or to cost-effectively manage multilingual delivery of content on multiple intranet, extranet, and internet sites.

Extend business processes across the organisation.
Forms Services–driven solutions make it possible to more securely and accurately collect information both inside and outside the organisation without coding any custom applications. This information can then be integrated easily into line-of-business systems, stored in document libraries, used to start workflow processes, or submitted to Web services, thus avoiding duplicate effort and costly errors resulting from manual data entry.

Streamline everyday business activities.
Take advantage of workflows to automate and gain more visibility into common business activities such as document review and approval, issue tracking, and signature collection. Integration with familiar Microsoft Office client applications, e-mail, and Web browsers simplifies the user experience. Organisations can easily modify the out-of-the-box processes or define their own processes using familiar Microsoft tools such as Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer 2007 (the next generation Microsoft Office FrontPage)

EPiServer

EPiServer is a highly configurable, fully functional “out of the box” web content management solution 100% built on the Microsoft .NET framework. Designed as an easy to use tool for publishing information on intranets, extranets and/or internet sites more than 2000 web sites worldwide are built on the EPiServer platform. It includes lightweight document management and collaboration capabilities. www.episerver.com

EPiServer has been designed to deliver a broad range of web content management functions and personalisation features by default, yet allow extensive customisation through its “plug in” framework.

Easy to install and easy to manage, EPiServer is a proven scalable and reliable system that leverages industry standard products including Microsoft IIS and SQL server to deliver simple and complex websites to thousands of simultaneous users.

MoST

MoST CMS solution as an option for simpler web content management solutions that require less customisation and integration with other systems. The solution is developed on the MoST platform whereby you don't buy a MoST licence but rather "rent" space on a shared MoST server which we host. We offer two packages one being a "standard" package covering most of the standard features (excluding eCommerce, Membership and Events) and an "all you can eat" offering which includes all MoST features.
