SmartPoint improves contact centre performance by delivering an integrated view of customer information - in real-time and in context to the customer call - to the contact centre advisor’s desktop.

A user enters data into their “host application” (this could be an ERP, CRM or other product).  When they enter data into specified field, the SmartPoint dashboard becomes visible as a sidebar with further information about that field taken from a variety of data sources.

Role Dashboards

When we talk about collaboration and intelligence in your business, we really do mean business.  Context Dashboards are fantastic tools while staff members are doing their jobs minute to minute.  However we sometimes need information delivered on the business at a moment in time rather than continually.  Role Dashboards are immensely powerful and can be used for a variety of purposes such as Performance Monitoring, Service Delivery and Exception Management.

Companies have a variety of performance reports that are run every day (usually overnight) to show how the business is performing to this point in the month.  Role Dashboards allow this information to be presented on a simple dashboard based on the role the person does in the business.

For Example: A sales person can therefore look up their sales performance against budget and can drill down into the data to see high or non performing areas.  Of course, they can only see their own performance and not any other sales person while their manager can see all sales staff reporting to them.

Because all the staff in a role use the same dashboard, programming is quick and simple.  Data can be consolidated from multiple sources and presented in a simple way for the staff members who are using it.

Ideally, a manager should be able to see the performance of the business at any point in time.  Even more ideally, the manager only wants to see what is not performing.  A perfect example of this is our supply chain dashboard.  This dashboard is so powerful that it is really hard to show just how good it can be!  It only shows items where there is an exception, so the better your company is running, the less information it shows!!
