Introduction

SupplyNet – a PSB Group company – has been providing e-Commerce solutions in New Zealand and overseas since 2000. Since that time SupplyNet has deployed e-Procurement, e-Invoicing, e-Marketplace solutions and has created over 100 electronic supplier catalogues (now hosted on SupplyNet’s infrastructure) for New Zealand and international customers. SupplyNet employs an ASP model i.e. e-Commerce software applications are hosted by SupplyNet on behalf of their clients – reducing the cost of ongoing management and upgrades.

Capabilities

The procurement process is an ideal application for e-business tools. For instance, in many cases non-strategic purchases, although they are represent a small percentage of total purchase dollars, consume a large proportion of an organisation’s purchasing resources.
